We are a women-led business founded by Carmit Gabay, a passionate entrepreneur from Israel, and Claudia Arcabascio, a dedicated keto baker with a deep love for wholesome desserts. Together, we believe everyone deserves to enjoy indulgent, healthy treats without compromise.
Claudia’s love for baking was born in childhood, inspired by generations of passionate cooks in her family. She grew up watching her mother bring magic to every meal, always using the finest ingredients and infusing her cooking with warmth, elegance, and care. Her grandmothers — one from France and one from northern Italy, who later emigrated to Venezuela — passed down rich culinary traditions that blended European refinement with Latin soul.
At just 9 years old, Claudia began baking cakes for her family. Her father, her biggest supporter, encouraged her with new pans and ingredients. Over time, Claudia became known among friends and loved ones for her unforgettable desserts, especially her flans — inspired by classic French crème brûlée, Venezuelan quesillo, and Italian panna cotta.
Claudia’s desserts are always made the way she served them at home: with love, clean ingredients, and no additives or shortcuts. Encouraged by her family and friends, she turned her lifelong passion into a thriving boutique bakery — Claudia’s Heavenly Flans & Cakes — where each dessert is crafted with the same care, heart, and flavor that made them famous at every gathering.
